HeartRate Broadcaster collects nothing, stores nothing on a server, and has no server to store it on.

What the app does with your data
Heart rate
Read from HealthKit on your iPhone and Apple Watch, held in memory only for as long as the app is running, and written to a Bluetooth characteristic that only devices you have paired can subscribe to. It is never written to a file, never uploaded, and is gone when the app closes.
Your settings
Broadcast name, source, cadence, and display toggles are stored in the app's own preferences on your device. They stay there. They are not part of any account, because there are no accounts.
Bluetooth
The app acts as a Bluetooth peripheral. It advertises a heart rate service and answers devices that subscribe. It does not scan for or connect to other devices, and Bluetooth gives it no identifying information about whatever subscribed.
What the app does not do
- No analytics, telemetry, crash reporting, or usage tracking.
- No advertising, and no advertising identifier.
- No third-party SDKs of any kind.
- No accounts, no sign-in, no email address.
- No network requests. The app makes none at runtime.
- Nothing is sold or shared, because nothing is collected.
Health data
Heart rate read through HealthKit is used solely to display it and to broadcast it to devices you pair. It is not used for advertising or marketing, is not shared with third parties, and is not disclosed to data brokers. You can revoke the app's HealthKit access at any time in Settings › Privacy & Security › Health, or in the Health app under Sharing › Apps. Revoking it stops the readings; nothing is retained.
Children
The app is not directed at children and collects no data from anyone, of any age.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it. Since the app collects nothing, any change is likely to be a clarification rather than a new practice.
